Senior Ecologist & Project Manager

Senior Ecologist & Project Manager

Jackson is a Senior Ecologist & Project Manager with Nature Advisory and has eight years’ experience working and volunteering in the environmental industry, and four years working in consulting. His attention to detail and organisational skills result in careful and timely consideration of environmental issues for the best results for environmental and client needs.

His keen interest in nature has been a lifelong pursuit which he explored through many years of tertiary education and honed through his recent years in consulting. He applies his passion for understanding the environment and our place within it through his role and takes every opportunity to further his understanding of our impact on the natural world and minimise it.

Specialising in the assessment and development of management plans for wind farms and developments across Australia, Jackson enjoys exploring the unique ecosystem requirements of individual projects. He conveys these to clients through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A keen animal lover, Jackson has also managed the introduction of Kitty; Nature Advisory’s scent detection dog, to contribute to wind farm impact monitoring and targeted surveys. For when a good sense of smell is far more valuable than a good set of eyes.
