Wind farm construction and post-approval assessments

Once a wind farm is approved, Nature Advisory’s team can assist in the finalisation of plans and investigations to meet permit requirements and consent conditions.

In relation to native vegetation, we have teams to develop:

  • Native vegetation management plans
  • Native vegetation offset plans
  • Native vegetation removal audits
  • Construction and Post-approval assessments
  • Baseline assessments for future monitoring

In addition, we can develop and implement:

  • Bird and Bat Management Plans
  • Pest plant and animal plans
  • Native vegetation management plans
  • Targeted surveys for plants and animals
  • Threatened species monitoring and translocation
  • Biodiversity approval compliance (including for the Commonwealth EPBC Act)
  • Baseline and post-commissioning bird and bat utilisation surveys; and
  • Bird and Bat carcass monitoring, including the use of scent dogs to maximise effectiveness.

Our teams based throughout eastern Australia can assist in this process.
