Adam started at Nature Advisory in early 2022 after completing a Master of Environmental Science with a research component in avian ecology. He currently works as a Zoologist in Melbourne and is primarily involved with targeted fauna surveys, windfarm projects across Victoria, as well as flora and fauna assessments for various development proposals.
Adam is highly competent in ornithological field research and has been involved in bird monitoring projects across south-eastern Australia from the coastal heathlands to the Mallee. He has experience in undertaking standardised surveys of threatened bird species, the use of call playback to survey birds, design and implementation of acoustic monitoring protocols, habitat quality and vegetation assessments, data collection and analysis, and report writing.
Outside of Nature Advisory, Adam enjoys exploring Australia’s natural environments. He has a particular soft spot for the Mallee and will jump at any opportunity to return the semi-arid country where his love for nature began. Adam has developed a keen interest in botany and is working to further his skills in this area.
