Liz joined the Nature Advisory team in 2021. She enjoys working on a range of projects within the property development and renewable energy sectors. Liz has conducted a range of fauna surveys and assessments including habitat assessments, implementation of bird and bat management plans, Kangaroo management plans, Brolga breeding surveys, Striped Legless Lizard surveys, Growling Grass Frog surveys, among other targeted fauna surveys. Liz is also a member of our Canine Scent Detection team.

 

Liz is a graduate from the University of Tasmania, where she completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Zoology. Her project focused on sarcoptic mange in wombats and pathogen transmission. Through her studies and volunteering opportunities in Tasmania, Liz gained experience with a range of fauna survey techniques, with a focus on mammals. After graduating, Liz worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Tasmania. Liz has been enjoying applying her research skills and experience from working in Tasmania to new projects with Nature Advisory in Victoria.

 

In her spare time, Liz enjoys reading, exploring Melbourne, and getting outdoors for a walk or bike ride.
