How we are adapting to COVID-19

As a Melbourne-based company, Nature Advisory has had to adapt several times to the changing progress of the Covid-19 epidemic in Victoria and elsewhere.

We place the highest priority on the health, well being and safety of our staff and our clients, and have ensured that as the epidemic has developed, we have updated and refined our work procedures to ensure people remain safe and well.

As a company that operates nationally, border closures have presented a challenge. Although some of our Melbourne staff have not accumulated quite as many frequent-flyer points in recent months, we have nonetheless maintained levels of service to clients operating in NSW and Queensland by strengthening our technical team. We have made new appointments in recent months in southern NSW, Armidale and Brisbane. This guarantees service continuity in the three eastern mainland states, so clients can still benefit from experienced, accurate field investigators under the supervision of our knowledgeable, professional project managers.

Closer to home, the recent change in business operating conditions in Melbourne has required some fleet-of-foot work to prepare us to continue to service clients on their construction and facility site over the coming weeks. We have responded to the Victorian Chief Health Officer’s new directives swiftly to minimise disruptions. We now have all required paperwork in place for all staff, including an updated CovidSafe Plan responding to the state’s requirements, as well as Permitted Worker Permits to facilitating our site-based work.

As the pandemic continues to affect how we do business, we will continue to monitor developments, understand our legal, health and safety requirements, and respond in a timely and diligent way to maintain our levels of service.

Of course, we all look forward to the day when these difficult times are behind us and we can gather as a team in our local dumpling restaurant on a Friday evening, or meet face to face with our valued clients. In the meantime, please stay safe and well and we look forward to catching up in person on the other side!
